On arrival at JRO or ARK, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your &K Africa Limited driver-guide and transferred to Arusha (approx. 45–90 minutes, depending on the airport and traffic). Settle into your accommodation, relax after your journey, and enjoy a short safari briefing—covering the route, wildlife highlights, and practical tips—so you’re ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours). Spend the day on game drives among ancient baobabs, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Expect excellent sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and diverse birdlife—with chances for lions and leopards too. Picnic lunch inside the park, then continue game viewing before driving to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Lake manyara national park
Lake manyara national park
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact park with dramatic Rift Valley scenery, groundwater forest, open plains, and a shimmering soda lake. Look out for elephants, large baboon troops, hippos, giraffes, buffalo, and abundant birdlife. If lucky, you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Picnic lunch inside the park, then return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing local villages and scenic viewpoints. Stop for panoramic views near the crater rim, then continue into Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and begin game drives as the landscape opens into vast plains. Arrive at camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti with your professional guide. You may choose an early morning drive and late afternoon drive or a full-day safari with picnic lunch. The Serengeti is renowned for large predator populations, huge herds of plains game, and—depending on season—the Great Migration. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, depart Serengeti with an en-route game drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor—one of Africa’s highest wildlife-density areas. You may see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, zebra, wildebeest, and—if fortunate—the black rhino, plus rich birdlife. Picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then ascend and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Arusha
Arusha
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight time, you may stop for souvenir shopping or a short town visit. Transfer to JRO/ARK for your onward journey. Extra accommodation can be arranged upon request.
