Day 2

Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Entebbe and drive west toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The scenic journey passes through rural towns, farmland, and tea plantations, offering insight into everyday life in Uganda. A lunch stop is made en route. Arrival in the park is in the late afternoon, followed by check-in at your mid-range safari lodge. The evening is spent relaxing and enjoying the surrounding landscape.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. With your guide, explore the park’s savannah plains in search of elephants, buffalo, lions, antelope, warthogs, and birdlife. After breakfast and rest at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers close views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and animals gathering along the shoreline.

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You are assigned a gorilla family and begin the trek through the forest accompanied by rangers and trackers. The trek can take between two and six hours depending on gorilla location. Once found, you spend up to one hour observing the gorillas before returning to the lodge to rest.
