After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its towering baobab trees, massive elephant herds, and rich birdlife.

Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s scenic river valleys and open savannahs, home to lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and countless other wildlife species. After an early breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll arrive in the central Serengeti, known as Seronera, which is renowned for its year-round wildlife viewing.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive where you’ll track prides of lions, cheetahs scanning the plains, and possibly leopards resting in the acacia trees. The Serengeti’s endless savannah and abundance of wildlife will make this day unforgettable. Dinner and overnight will be at your tented camp.

After an early breakfast, continue your journey northwards through the Serengeti. This region is famous for the dramatic scenes of the great migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, braving crocodile-infested waters and waiting predators.

Spend the day exploring the Northern Serengeti, following the herds and witnessing the breathtaking river crossings (seasonal, depending on migration movement). Even outside the crossing period, the area is rich with resident wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, big cats, and abundant birdlife.

In the evening, drive to your camp in the Northern Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

You’ll pass through the Central Serengeti, where you can enjoy more wildlife viewing along the way. This transfer doubles as a game drive, giving you another chance to spot predators and plains game roaming across the vast savannah.

By late afternoon, you’ll exit the Serengeti and continue towards the highlands of Karatu, located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay, with the cooler highland air offering a refreshing change from the plains.

After an early breakfast, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. The crater floor offers one of the best safari experiences in Africa, with a chance to spot the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino — all within a breathtaking natural amphitheater.

Enjoy a half-day game drive across the crater floor, where you’ll also encounter hippos, wildebeests, zebras, flamingos, and countless bird species. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, arriving in the evening for your onward journey or flight.
