In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you may encounter Samburu’s unique wildlife including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, elephants, and predators. Return to camp in the evening to relax, enjoy dinner, and take in the peaceful wilderness atmosphere of northern Kenya.

After an early breakfast, head out for morning game viewing across the open savannahs and riverine habitats, where predators and plains game are often active. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before setting out again in the afternoon for further game drives. This day offers more opportunities to track big cats, elephants, and large herbivore herds. (Optional for an extra cost: hot air balloon safari followed by a bush breakfast.) Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

This is a relaxed travel day, offering time to reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and memorable moments from your safari. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
