Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, guests are met by their professional guide and transferred to Olive Grove Guesthouse in Windhoek. After check-in there is time to relax or take a short orientation drive through Namibia’s capital. Windhoek blends modern life, local culture and scenic surroundings. Depending on arrival times, guests may explore nearby craft markets or cafés. Dinner is served at the guesthouse and overnight is spent in Windhoek as the safari begins.

Day 2

Okonjima Nature Reserve

Okonjima Nature Reserve

After breakfast in Windhoek, we depart for Okonjima Nature Reserve, situated between Windhoek and Etosha. Upon arrival we check in at the Okonjima Plains Camp and enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon excursion with the AfriCat Foundation. This non-profit sanctuary rehabilitates rescued carnivores, and the guided activity offers insight into cheetah and leopard conservation. Later we embark on a guided game drive to track these big cats in their natural habitat and soak up the rugged scenery. Dinner is served at the camp’s lapa, and the evening ends with stargazing and stories around the fire. Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner; drinking water, non-alcoholic drinks, and beer and wine are available.

Day 3

Okonjima to Etosha National Park

Okonjima to Etosha National Park

After a morning activity at Okonjima Plains Camp, we drive north to Etosha National Park, arriving at the Okaukuejo area around midday. After settling in, enjoy lunch and then head out to the iconic Etosha salt pan and numerous waterholes for an evening game drive. Expect to see herds of elephant, giraffe, springbok and possibly lions as they come to drink at sunset. After dusk, watch nocturnal animals gather at the floodlit Okaukuejo waterhole. Dinner is served at the rest camp and overnight in comfortable chalets. Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner; drinking water, non-alcoholic drinks, beer and wine.

Day 4

Etosha National Park Game Drives

Etosha National Park Game Drives

Today is dedicated to wildlife viewing in Etosha National Park, one of southern Africa’s premier safari destinations. After an early breakfast, guests enjoy a morning game drive exploring Etosha’s vast salt pan and surrounding savannah, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and a wide variety of antelope species.

The afternoon allows time to relax at the lodge or visit the famous Okaukuejo waterhole, where wildlife gathers throughout the day. A late-afternoon game drive continues the safari experience before returning to the accommodation inside the park.

Overnight at Okaukuejo Resort in a comfortable mid-range chalet. Meals as specified.

Upon arrival in Damaraland, guests check in at their lodge and have time to relax before the afternoon. Depending on arrival time, there may be an opportunity for a short nature walk or to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Damaraland is known for its dramatic geology, ancient rock formations and unique desert-adapted wildlife.

Today is dedicated to exploring the highlights of Damaraland, a region known for its dramatic landscapes and cultural heritage. After breakfast, we visit the Twyfelfontein UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to one of the largest concentrations of ancient rock engravings in Africa. A local guide provides insight into the meaning and history of these prehistoric artworks.

The day continues with visits to nearby geological formations such as Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes, offering striking views of layered volcanic rock formations. In the afternoon, there is time to relax at the lodge or enjoy the surrounding scenery. Dinner is served at the lodge, and the evening is spent enjoying the quiet atmosphere of this remote desert region.

After breakfast, we depart Damaraland and travel toward Namibia’s Atlantic coastline. The route passes through wide open plains and remote settlements before reaching the Skeleton Coast region, famous for its shipwrecks, misty coastline and stark desert-meets-ocean scenery.

Along the way, there may be stops to photograph the unusual landscapes and to learn about the history of this inhospitable coast. In the afternoon, we continue south toward Swakopmund, where cooler coastal air and colonial-era architecture offer a contrast to the desert interior. Dinner is enjoyed at the guesthouse, and the evening is free to relax after the journey.

An early start allows us to enter Namib-Naukluft National Park at sunrise to explore the iconic dunes of Sossusvlei. Guests visit some of the highest sand dunes in the world, with opportunities to climb a dune and enjoy panoramic views across the desert.

We also visit Deadvlei, known for its white clay pan and ancient camelthorn trees set against towering red dunes. After returning to the lodge in the afternoon, there is time to rest and reflect on the day’s experiences. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge.
