Your day begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, followed by a drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views from the Rift Valley viewpoint and glimpse distant sights such as Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot crater. Arriving in Nakuru around 11:00 AM, you stop for an early lunch at a local restaurant before entering Lake Nakuru National Park for game drives. Explore the lake, admire flamingos and haunting dead trees, and discover the park’s rich wildlife, including rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and waterbucks. Visit the rhino sanctuary from a safe distance, then continue game drives until early evening before returning to Nairobi, completing a memorable wildlife and birding day trip.
