Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Kibale NP
The day begins early inside Bwindi Impenetrable NP, where mist drifts through ancient forest canopies. After an early breakfast, you head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing. Rangers outline trekking rules, safety guidance, and conservation principles.
Gorilla trekking delivers one of Africa’s most powerful wildlife encounters. The walk varies in length, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Dense vegetation, vines, and uneven terrain make the journey adventurous and rewarding. When the gorillas appear, time slows. Watching a silverback lead his family or young ones play among the leaves creates a deeply personal connection to the wild. You spend an hour observing them,
After the trek, we transfer to Kibale NP, the primate capital of East Africa. The scenic passes through rolling hills, tea plantations, crater lakes, and rural communities.
You arrive in Kibale in the evening, just in time to settle into your lodge and enjoy dinner.
