Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pickup from your Nairobi hotel, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide who will accompany you throughout your adventure. After a short safari briefing, you will depart Nairobi and begin your scenic drive through the beautiful Great Rift Valley, enjoying stunning viewpoints and glimpses of rural Kenyan life along the way.

You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by a relaxing break to enjoy the lodge amenities and surrounding scenery. In the afternoon, set out on your first exciting game drive within the park, known for its thriving rhino population, diverse birdlife, and frequent sightings of lions, giraffes, buffalo, and more before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

The Main Event -The Great Migration in Kenya's Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru and journey toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari camp ideally located near the Mara River — placing you close to the heart of migration activity. After settling in and enjoying the spectacular surroundings, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to begin exploring the vast plains and tracking the incredible herds of wildebeest and zebra that define this iconic wildlife spectacle.

The following two days will be dedicated to unforgettable game drives across the Masai Mara in search of dramatic river crossings, predator action, and massive migrating herds. Along with witnessing the Great Migration, you will have excellent opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, and countless other wildlife species while experiencing the breathtaking landscapes that make the Masai Mara one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations.

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in the Masai Mara with scenic views of the plains before beginning your return journey to Nairobi. The drive offers one last chance to soak in the beautiful countryside and reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and memories created throughout your safari.

You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or to your hotel if you are extending your stay. Your safari concludes with unforgettable memories of one of nature’s greatest wildlife experiences.
