Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop for photos at the viewpoint. You then continue toward the Masai Mara, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you head out for your first game drive across the rolling plains. This introductory drive offers excellent chances to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. As the sun sets over the savannah, you return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you depart for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara, carrying a packed lunch to maximize time in the park. The day is spent exploring different wildlife-rich areas, including riverbanks where hippos and crocodiles are commonly seen. The Masai Mara is famous for its high concentration of wildlife, and today offers the best opportunity to witness the Big Five in their natural habitat. After an eventful day of game viewing and a picnic lunch in the wild, you return to your lodge or camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Following breakfast, you enjoy a final short game drive as you exit the Masai Mara. You then travel to Lake Naivasha, passing through scenic countryside and the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, you check in at your lodge and have lunch. The afternoon is spent at leisure, with an optional boat ride on the lake to see hippos and a variety of birdlife, or a guided nature walk on Crescent Island among giraffes and zebras. Dinner and overnight are at your Lake Naivasha lodge.
