Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is well known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife that gathers along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. During the game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Later in the day, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Ngorongoro crater

Following an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas, offering an exceptional concentration of animals within its caldera walls. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor near the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim and returning to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Lake Eyasi & Departure

After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, some of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. Learn about their traditional way of life, hunting techniques, and unique customs while exploring the lakeshore environment. After the visit, begin your journey back to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure, marking the end of your safari experience.
