5-Day Masai Mara - Nakuru and Naivasha Group Safari

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

You’ll be picked up from your hotel for a short briefing about the trip, then depart on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the late morning. The park is internationally renowned as a wildlife sanctuary and is especially famous for its successful conservation of both black and white rhinos.

On arrival, check in at your lodge or hotel and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive through the park, exploring its woodlands, grasslands, and lakeshore in search of wildlife such as rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The game drive continues into the evening, when the light is perfect for photography and birdwatching along the shores of Lake Nakuru, home to a wide variety of bird species.

After the game drive, return to the lodge or hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Nakuru - Naivasha

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge while taking in the sights and sounds of the park. Afterwards, set out for a morning game drive before departing in the late morning for the nearby Lake Naivasha. On arrival, check in at your lodge or hotel and have lunch, then spend some time relaxing.

In the late afternoon, visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari, where you can see wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes up close. Lake Naivasha is also renowned for its rich birdlife, much of which can be spotted within the lodge grounds. Later, return to the lodge or hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive across the vast savannahs in search of wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and many other plains game. As the sun sets over the Mara, return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
