Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver guide and begin a guided city tour that introduces you to Rwanda’s vibrant culture, history, and remarkable transformation. Explore key landmarks and local neighborhoods before visiting the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will gain a deeper understanding of the country’s past and its inspiring journey of unity and recovery.
After lunch at a selected city restaurant, depart Kigali for a scenic drive north toward Volcanoes National Park. As you travel through the breathtaking countryside, enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, terraced farms, and picturesque villages that define Rwanda as the Land of a Thousand Hills.
Arrive in the evening and transfer to your lodge for check in, relaxation, and dinner as you prepare for the exciting adventure awaiting you the following day.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park for a detailed briefing before setting out on your guided golden monkey trek. Accompanied by experienced rangers, hike through the scenic bamboo forests in search of these rare and energetic primates. Enjoy observing them leap through the trees and forage in their natural habitat while taking in the breathtaking mountain surroundings.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later, embark on a scenic cross border drive into Uganda, journeying through rolling hills and vibrant rural landscapes. By evening, arrive in the area surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check in at your lodge, and unwind as you prepare for the next day’s unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before transferring to the headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a comprehensive gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will venture into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 and 6 hours depending on their movement, but the reward is extraordinary. Once located, you will spend up to one magical hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, groom, and interact an emotional and unforgettable wildlife encounter.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community for a rich cultural experience, where you will learn about their ancient forest lifestyle through traditional dances, storytelling, and demonstrations of survival skills passed down through generations.

Arrive in Ishasha around midday and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive across the open savannah plains. This remote sector is renowned for its rare tree climbing lions, often spotted resting in fig trees. You may also encounter elephants, buffaloes, topis, and a wide variety of bird species as you explore the wilderness.
As the sun sets over the park, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds and serenity of the African bush.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the park’s prime wildlife viewing areas. This vast savannah is known for large lion prides, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. The cool morning hours provide the best opportunity to witness predators on the move and capture incredible wildlife moments.
After the drive, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head to the Kazinga Channel for a two hour boat cruise along the natural waterway linking Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel hosts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos, alongside crocodiles, elephants at the shoreline, buffaloes cooling off, and abundant birdlife including kingfishers, pelicans, and African fish eagles.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the afternoon, set out on a guided chimpanzee trekking experience through Kibale’s dense tropical rainforest, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these intelligent and energetic primates as they swing through the trees, groom one another, and communicate in their natural habitat. Along the way, you may also encounter red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and a variety of colorful forest birds.
After the trek, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay in the heart of Uganda’s primate capital.
