Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful park characterized by acacia woodlands, giant baobab trees, and vast swamps in the south. During the dry season, the Tarangire River and surrounding swamps attract large numbers of wildlife, making the park famous for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds.

You may also spot zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, impalas, elands, baboons, and predators such as lions and African wild dogs. The park is also known for rare species like the greater kudu and fringed-eared oryx.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with an afternoon game drive, and later head to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Today, you will journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast.

The Serengeti is celebrated for its endless plains and extraordinary wildlife, including the Great Migration of wildebeests, large prides of lions, and predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, and crocodiles.

After breakfast, you will proceed with a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you may encounter lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, crocodiles, and many other incredible animals.

At lunchtime, you will return to your hotel for a hot meal and some relaxation before heading out again for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, or choose a morning and afternoon drive with a relaxing break in between.

The Serengeti, derived from the Maasai word “Siringet” meaning “endless plains,” covers about 14,750 square kilometers and is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. It is especially famous for hosting the Great Migration, where vast herds of herbivores travel nearly 800 kilometers across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey from the Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive, offering one last chance to spot wildlife before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At the Ngorongoro gate, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater for a half-day safari. This spectacular caldera supports an incredible variety of wildlife year-round, thanks to its reliable water sources and lush vegetation. Expect to see wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, hippos, and magnificent African elephants.

After your Ngorongoro game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha for the conclusion of your safari.
