Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an unforgettable crater tour, with a packed picnic lunch included. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most iconic wildlife destinations and the perfect place to spot the endangered black rhinoceros. You’ll also enjoy a meal near the hippo pool, where you can watch numerous hippos relaxing in the cool waters. After an amazing day of wildlife and scenery, you will return to Arusha, with a 3-hour drive back and drop-off at Karibu Heritage House.

Karibu Heritage House to Materuni Waterfalls

The tour guide will pick you up at Karibu Heritage House after breakfast, and you will begin the scenic journey to Materuni Waterfalls. The trail winds through valleys and hills covered in tropical rainforest, passing coffee, banana, avocado, and various tree species. You will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the Chagga community. After exploring and relaxing at Materuni Waterfalls, you will return to Arusha, taking in the beautiful scenery and glimpses of authentic Tanzanian life along the way.
