Nairobi – Fly to the Maasai Mara

Your adventure begins with a very early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi or JKIA, followed by a transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled 7:00 am flight to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views as you fly over the Great Rift Valley, landing at Kichwa Tembo Airstrip.

Upon arrival, embark on an exciting morning game drive until 12 noon, searching for the Big Five and other iconic wildlife across the vast savannah plains. Thereafter, proceed to Mara Elatia Camp for check-in and a delicious lunch.

Enjoy a period of leisure and relaxation at the camp, soaking in the tranquil wilderness atmosphere until 4:00 pm. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive, when predators become more active and the golden light creates perfect photography moments.

Return to the camp in time for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the authentic sounds of the African bush.

Full Day in the Maasai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations.

Begin with an early morning game drive at sunrise, the best time to witness predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they complete their night hunts. The cool morning hours also offer excellent wildlife photography opportunities across the golden savannah.

Return to Mara Elatia Camp for a hearty full breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure—relax at camp, unwind on your private deck, or simply soak in the peaceful wilderness surroundings.

Lunch will be served at the camp, followed by another leisure break until 4:00 pm. Later, head out for your afternoon game drive, exploring different sections of the reserve in search of the Big Five and other plains game.

Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Mara – Fly Back to Nairobi

Enjoy an early breakfast at Mara Elatia Camp, surrounded by the serene sounds of the African wilderness. Thereafter, proceed with check-out and transfer to the nearby airstrip for your scheduled 8:30 am flight back to Nairobi.

Arrive at Wilson Airport where our representative will be waiting to receive you. This convenient morning flight allows seamless connections to other destinations or the opportunity to spend the day exploring Nairobi’s vibrant city attractions.

You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi or to JKIA for your onward international flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience in the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
