Day 1

Arusha -Tarangire National Park

Arusha -Tarangire National Park

On the first day, we will pick you up from Arusha /Kilimanjaro Airport or your hotel in (or around) Arusha. During the 2.5-hour drive, you will enjoy the beautiful nature and landscapes. In Tarangire, you'll do a game drive before lunch. After lunch at the picnic site, you'll do a game drive all afternoon. Tarangire National Park is located 115km south of Arusha and is a long and narrow park that covers 2850sq km and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park also comes from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. During the dry months, the concentration of animals around the Tarangire River is almost as diverse and reliable as in the Ngorongoro Crater. At the end of the afternoon, you will arrive at the Ngedere Lodge and Campsite, where you can freshen up and get ready for dinner prepared by your private cook.

On the third day you'll kick off with an early morning game drive within the Serengeti. Later in the day, you'll set our course for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will delight in a hearty dinner and spend the night at the Simba Campsite.

Today offers the first glimpse of the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, an unparalleled wonder and the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, located at the heart of the Conservation Area bearing its name. However, before reaching this extraordinary destination, you'll relish another morning game drive in the captivating Serengeti, where you'll be entranced by its vibrant wildlife. Spend the morning and early afternoon on a game drive across the crater floor, witnessing dense wildlife populations in a stunning setting lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, zebras, and flamingos in the crater’s soda lakes. After a full day of exploration and photography, ascend to the crater rim and drive back to the scenic Mto wa Mbu area. Arrive at your lodge or camp, unwind, and enjoy dinner while reflecting on the extraordinary wildlife and landscapes you’ve experienced.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive. Known for its beautiful scenery and rich biodiversity, the park offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, baboons, and a wide variety of bird species while exploring its forests, open plains, and lakeshore habitats.

Following a picnic lunch and continued wildlife viewing, begin your journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, Arusha Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure.
