Day 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 2–3 hours. Upon arrival, begin your game drive in a park renowned for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife sustained by the Tarangire River.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. During the afternoon game drive, you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn, where you can relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at Eileen’s Trees Inn, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills and vast plains as you journey toward Tanzania’s most celebrated wildlife sanctuary.

Arrive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera area) around midday and begin your afternoon game drive. This region is renowned for its high concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests.

After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, proceed to Sero Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay. Relax in your comfortable tent and enjoy the authentic safari atmosphere in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3

Serengeti – Karatu

Serengeti – Karatu

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, the best time to witness predators in action and enjoy the stunning sunrise over the endless plains. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, and large herds of herbivores are often active during these cool morning hours.

Return to camp for breakfast, then continue with a final mid-morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti. Enjoy wildlife sightings en route while heading back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After a picnic lunch along the way, proceed to Karatu, arriving in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast in Karatu, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, descend approximately 600 meters into the crater floor for a half-day game drive.

The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. You may also encounter hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and flamingos along the soda lake. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the hippo pool while surrounded by breathtaking views of the crater walls.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Northern Tanzania safari.
