After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

A full-day game drive allows you to explore the park’s diverse landscapes where lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and numerous bird species can often be seen.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

The park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, large troops of baboons, and seasonal flamingos that gather along the alkaline lake. Lake Manyara is also well known for its tree-climbing lions, a rare behavior that makes this park unique.

Wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife.

After your safari, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner overlooking the beautiful landscapes of the Rift Valley.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti ecosystem.

With a full day inside the park, your guide will track wildlife movements and adjust the route to maximize your chances of incredible sightings. Early morning and late afternoon are the most active times for predators and other wildlife.

You may witness lions stalking prey, cheetahs scanning the plains, or large herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the savannah.

The Serengeti covers more than 14,000 square kilometers, meaning every region offers unique landscapes and wildlife encounters.

For an unforgettable experience, you may choose to add a sunrise hot-air balloon safari (optional) followed by a champagne bush breakfast.

Day 6

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and begin a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy approximately three hours of wildlife viewing as you travel across the plains and ascend toward the crater highlands.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most remarkable wildlife destinations in Africa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site covers approximately 260 square kilometers and has a diameter of nearly 20 kilometers, forming the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Upon arrival, you will descend about 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive lasting approximately 5 to 6 hours. The crater floor is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and the rare black rhino, which may be seen grazing on the open plains.

After your safari and picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend the rim and continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
