Journey to the Northern Frontier

-Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up at around 7:00 AM from your hotel or airport in Nairobi. Drive north through the scenic central highlands, passing towns such as Nanyuki, located near the equator.

-Scenic drive through Kenya’s central highlands

-Short Equator stop at Nanyuki for photos and views of Mount Kenya on a clear day

-Arrive at Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp.

-In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in search of the famous Samburu Special Five.

-Excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles

-Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness while surrounded by the reserve’s unique semi-arid scenery.

-Continue exploring the park until late afternoon before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

-Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon (around 3:30–4:30 PM) and drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your memorable Samburu Special Five Safari.
