Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Zanzibar to the northern Serengeti, where your safari adventure unfolds in one of Africa’s most iconic wilderness areas. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and begin an exciting game drive across vast savannahs shaped by the rhythm of the Great Migration.

The northern Serengeti is renowned for its dramatic wildlife scenes, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of greener pastures. As you explore, you may also encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species roaming freely in their natural habitat.

Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the sounds of the wild. After a rewarding afternoon of game viewing, continue your journey before heading to Safari Haven Migration Camps for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay under the Serengeti sky.

Northern to Central Serengeti National Park

After a hearty breakfast, you will continue your guided game drives through the northern Serengeti, exploring vast savannahs alive with wildlife and the rhythms of the Great Migration. This region offers exceptional opportunities to observe predators and herds in motion, with chances to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large groups of wildebeest and zebras across the plains.

As the journey unfolds, you will travel deeper into the Serengeti ecosystem, enjoying a scenic drive toward the central region, where the landscapes open into endless golden plains and rich wildlife territories. Upon arrival, continue your game viewing as animals gather around water sources and open grasslands.

In the evening, you will head to your accommodation in Central Serengeti for a well-deserved dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at Golden Safari Camps, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
