Day 1

Transfer from kampala to kibale National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will depart from Kampala and begin your journey to Kibale National Park which takes about 6-7 hours. The drive takes you through beautiful countryside landscapes, passing through towns such as Mubende and Fort Portal, with opportunities to enjoy views of tea plantations, crater lakes, and the scenic Rwenzori Mountain ranges.
You will have a stop over for lunch and refreshment in Masindi town
Arrive in the evening, check in and relax at the lodge or take part in optional activities such as a nature walk around the lodge area, bird watching, or a community visit depending on your arrival time.
Kibale National Park is famously known as the “Primate Capital of the World” due to its high concentration of primates, especially chimpanzees. The park offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience Uganda’s rainforest ecosystem before the following day’s chimpanzee tracking adventure.

Day 2
Chimpanzee tracking- Bwindi national park
Chimpanzee tracking- Bwindi national park
After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) guides. The forest is famously known as the “Primate Capital of the World” and offers one of the best chimpanzee tracking experiences in Africa. During the trek, you will walk through the beautiful tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzee communities while enjoying sightings of other primates and unique forest vegetation. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend time observing their behaviors, taking photographs, and learning about their way of life from the experienced guides.
After the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will return to the lodge for lunch and check out. You will then begin your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of western Uganda, passing through the rolling hills and beautiful countryside. Arrival early evening for check in, relax, and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3
Gorilla trekking and lake bunyonyi
Gorilla trekking and lake bunyonyi
After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) guides for gorilla trekking experience, the trek takes you through the ancient tropical rainforest, where you will search for a habituated gorilla family under the guidance of experienced rangers. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend a magical hour observing their behaviors, taking photographs, and learning about their social interactions and conservation efforts.
After the gorilla trekking experience, you will return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and later check out for Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most beautiful and scenic lakes, surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with numerous islands.
Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you will check in and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the lake. Depending on your arrival time, you may take part in optional activities such as a boat ride, canoeing, swimming, or a community walk around the lake.

Day 4
Transfer back to Kampala
Transfer back to Kampala
Enjoy last morning by relaxing and swimming in the lake which has water free from bilharzia and have your delicious breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and begin your scenic journey through the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda, with views of the rolling hills, farmlands, and local communities along the way.
You will pass through Kabale and continue towards Mbarara City, where you will have a stopover for lunch and refreshments. After lunch, you will proceed through the Ankole region, enjoying views of the famous long-horned cattle and the countryside scenery.
The journey continues towards Kayabwe, where you will make a stop at the Equator crossing point. Here, you will have time to take photographs, visit souvenir shops, and experience the equator line. You will continue to Kampala, arriving in the evening marks the end of your Uganda safari, leaving you with unforgettable memories.
