Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. If time permits, you may enjoy an optional city tour, visiting highlights such as the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, vibrant local markets, and the colorful Maasai Market. It’s a wonderful introduction to Arusha’s rich cultural heritage before you relax and unwind at your lodge for the evening.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure officially begins today. After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation at 7:45 a.m. for a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, the park offers a diverse landscape of open savannah, seasonal swamps, and the wildlife-rich banks of the Tarangire River.

You will embark on an exciting game drive in an open-roof safari vehicle, with opportunities to spot giraffes, zebras, impalas, lions, leopards, elephants, elands, warthogs, and a rich variety of birdlife. Around midday, you will stop at a scenic viewpoint to enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your exploration. In the late afternoon, you will make your way to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3

Drive to Serengeti National Park

Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will set off on your journey to the legendary Serengeti. Although the drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and can be bumpy at times, it is richly rewarding, with opportunities for wildlife sightings as you travel through the scenic crater highlands and onto the vast plains of the Serengeti.

Weather permitting, you will make a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the caldera.

Along the way, you will enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the region’s striking natural beauty. Upon entering the park, you will begin an exciting afternoon game drive, where the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife and expansive landscapes come to life.

As evening approaches, you will arrive at your lodge or tented camp for a hearty dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in the heart of this iconic wilderness.

After an early breakfast, you will set out on a morning game drive through the Seronera region, one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the Serengeti. After enjoying the abundant game viewing, you will begin your journey out of the Serengeti in the late afternoon.

You will then drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a journey of approximately two hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge, perched on the crater rim, where you can take in spectacular panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Visit Hadzabe and Lake Eyasi

Visit Hadzabe and Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, you will set out on a culturally enriching journey to Lake Eyasi. Your day begins with a visit to the Hadzabe community, one of the last remaining groups in the world to maintain a traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Here, you will gain insight into their daily lives, including traditional hunting techniques, honey gathering, and the use of simple, temporary shelters adapted to their environment. Their distinctive click-based language and deep connection to nature offer a truly rare and authentic experience.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Datoga community, known for their remarkable craftsmanship in beadwork and their traditional blacksmithing skills, which have been preserved and passed down through generations.

After a day of meaningful cultural encounters, You’ll then be transferred to your chosen drop-off point—either a hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro, or directly to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport—bringing your safari adventure to a close.
