This is the highlight of your safari: coming face-to-face with endangered mountain gorillas. After a briefing from park rangers, you will head deep into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek can be challenging, but the reward of spending an hour with a gorilla family is a life-changing experience. Return to Buhoma Lodge for a second night of riverside luxury, where you can share stories of your encounter over a celebratory dinner and drinks in the heart of the forest.

After a final breakfast in the forest, you will transfer to the Kihihi airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe.
