Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (Mount Longonot )

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (Mount Longonot )

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel at 6.00 am in
a private 4X4 safari jeep and depart towards Mt Longonot
National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley
en route. Upon arrival, you will begin the Mt Longonot hike,
ascending the dormant volcanic mountain through open
landscapes to the crater rim, where rewarding views of the
crater floor and Lake Naivasha await. After completing the
hike and descending, you will transfer to the hotel in
Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at the
lodge. The remainder of the afternoon is dedicated to
relaxation, allowing you to rest after the hike, enjoy the
tranquil surroundings, or unwind within the lodge grounds.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Resort.

Day 2

Hell's Gate National Park & Lake Naivasha

Hell's Gate National Park & Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will depart for Hell’s
Gate National Park, renowned for its dramatic scenery and
unique freedom to explore on foot or by bicycle. You will
enjoy a cycling safari through the park, passing towering
cliffs, geothermal features, and open plains where zebras,
giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes roam freely. After the
cycling experience, return to the resort for lunch and
some leisure time. In the late afternoon, proceed to Lake
Naivasha for a relaxing boat ride, offering close encounters
with hippos and excellent birdlife viewing, including fish
eagles and herons. After the boat ride, return to the lodge in
the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out from the resort and depart Lake
Naivasha at around 9.00 am, heading towards Lake Nakuru
National Park. Along the way, you may opt for a short stop at
Lake Elementaita to stretch your legs and enjoy views of the
alkaline lake, often dotted with flamingos and other water
birds. Continue the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park,
arriving in time for an enroute game drive as you make your
way towards Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. You will enjoy wildlife
viewing along the way, with chances of spotting rhinos,
giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Arrive at the
lodge for lunch, followed by time to relax and enjoy the lodge
facilities. Later in the afternoon, head out for another game
drive lasting into the evening, exploring different sections of
the park before returning to the lodge for dinner and
overnight.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and proceed for a
final game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, continuing
until around 11.00 am. This morning drive offers excellent
opportunities to spot wildlife at its most active, including
rhinos, lions, and a wide variety of bird species around the
lake shores. After exiting the park, begin your drive back to
Nairobi, passing through Naivasha where you will stop for
lunch at a suitable restaurant. Following lunch, continue the
journey to Nairobi, enjoying the changing landscapes of the
Rift Valley along the way. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late
afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel,
residence, or the airport, marking the end of your 4 day Mt
Longonot Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru safari.
