Day 1

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views before continuing through scenic countryside and local villages.

Arriving at your camp or lodge in time for lunch, you’ll have a short rest before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. The vast open plains of the Masai Mara provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, and you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly predators such as lions or cheetahs. As the sun sets over the savannah, you’ll return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you’ll set out for a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara. With picnic lunch packed, you’ll spend the day tracking wildlife across different parts of the reserve. This is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with countless other species.

If traveling during the migration season, you may witness the dramatic movement of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River, a truly unforgettable spectacle. Throughout the day, your guide will take you to prime wildlife areas, increasing your chances of spotting predators in action.

You’ll enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild, often near the Mara River, before continuing with more game viewing. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to your camp for dinner and relaxation after an exciting day on safari.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for a rewarding game drive. This compact yet diverse park is known for its scenic beauty, featuring a shallow alkaline lake surrounded by woodlands and rocky escarpments.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its birdlife, especially the flocks of flamingos that often line the shores, creating a stunning pink hue. The park is also one of the best places in Kenya to see both white and black rhinos, along with Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species. You may also encounter lions or leopards resting in the trees or moving through the bush.

Lake Nakuru Finale & Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This is the best time to spot wildlife, including white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras. Along the lake, you may see flocks of flamingos and other birdlife creating a beautiful scene.

After the drive, you will exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way, with a possible short stop for photos. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
