Nairobi to Masai Mara

Pick up from Nairobi and transfer to Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After settling in and enjoying a hot meal, set out on your first exciting game drive across the reserve’s vast golden savannahs. The park is teeming with wildlife, and you will likely encounter large herds of elephants, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest grazing freely. Giraffes move gracefully across the plains, while antelopes such as impalas and gazelles dot the landscape. Keep your eyes open for predators including lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning for prey, and elusive leopards hidden in the bushes. The Mara is also rich in birdlife, offering sightings of eagles, vultures, and colorful savannah species. As the sun sets, the sky transforms into brilliant shades, creating perfect photo moments. Extended Game Drive in Masai Mara

Begin your day with an early morning game drive when the park is most active and temperatures are cool. This is the best time to witness predators such as lions and hyenas finishing hunts or cheetahs actively searching for prey. You may also spot elephants bathing, hippos returning to rivers, and large herds moving across the plains. Return to camp for a full breakfast, followed by relaxation or an optional visit to a Maasai village where you will experience traditional dances, culture, and local way of life. After lunch, embark on an extended afternoon game drive exploring different parts of the reserve, including riverine areas where crocodiles and hippos thrive. The changing light enhances the beauty of the landscape and increases wildlife activity. Every turn offers new sightings and unforgettable moments. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.
