Warm greetings from Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by your friendly safari guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and recover from your journey.

For those eager to explore, an optional city tour offers a wonderful introduction to local life and culture. You will visit a vibrant local market filled with fresh produce, spices, and handcrafted goods, followed by a stop at the Maasai Market, perfect for browsing colorful beadwork, jewelry, and unique souvenirs made by local artisans. The tour also includes a visit to the Cultural Heritage Centre, where you can admire an impressive collection of African art, sculptures, and historical artifacts.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, with a picnic lunch enjoyed within the park. In the evening, you will proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Tarangire is renowned for its remarkable wildlife, especially during the dry season when large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, impalas, gazelles, hartebeest, and eland gather around the remaining water sources. Herds of up to 300 elephants can often be seen roaming the park, digging into the dry riverbeds in search of water.

The park is also a prime habitat for predators, boasting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife outside of the Serengeti National Park. It is uniquely known for sightings of dry-country antelopes such as the elegant fringe-eared oryx and the long-necked gerenuk. Tarangire offers a diverse ecosystem and serves as an important refuge for wildlife, particularly during the dry season when animals migrate in search of water.

Day 3

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Karatu and begin your journey towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the lush highlands before descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may enjoy scenic views of the crater and surrounding landscapes.

As you continue, the terrain gradually opens into the vast, endless plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, you will enjoy a game drive, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and predators roaming freely in their natural habitat.

You will arrive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera area) in the afternoon, a region well known for its year-round wildlife and high concentration of big cats. After an exciting day of travel and game viewing, you will proceed to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Today is dedicated to exploring the world-famous Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and an incredible variety of iconic African wildlife. Covering nearly 15,000 km², the Serengeti is celebrated for its endless plains, diverse ecosystems, and high concentration of predators.

After an early breakfast, you will set out on a full-day game drive through the heart of the park. Witness vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles grazing across the savanna, while predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards roam nearby. You may also spot elephants, giraffes, and hippos along the rivers and waterholes.

Your experienced guide will navigate through different areas of the park, maximizing your chances of exceptional wildlife sightings and scenic views.

As the day comes to an end, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and a relaxing evening, listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

At your Serengeti lodge, start the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a transfer game drive toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Covering 260 km², this UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and hosts an incredible variety of wildlife, including the legendary Big Five.

Upon arrival, descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for an exciting game drive. Here, you’ll encounter buffalo, hippos, lions, rhinos, elephants, and, along the shores of Lake Magadi, flocks of flamingos. A picnic lunch amidst this unique ecosystem will give you a chance to relax and soak in the scenery before ascending the crater rim.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to Karatu, a charming town on the edge of Ngorongoro. Check into your lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind after a thrilling day of wildlife adventures.
