Your East African adventure starts with your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Here you will be welcomed by your Safari Guide and transferred to the Rivertrees Country Inn where you will spend your first night in Tanzania.

Explore Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will be collected by your private driver.

Make your way to the Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive then head to Tarangire Safari Lodge in the early evening, for a nice dinner and overnight.

Spend the following day exploring and enjoy full day game drive in the park. Tarangire National Park is famously known as the hub of the Elephants due to its higher population of this prestigious animal. You can expect to see a lot in Tarangire National Park from Lions on Trees, Elephants, Kudus, Leopards, to the naughty mongoose. You will have picnic lunch during your game drive or go back to the Lodge for hot lunch then continue with your game viewing.

Depart Tarangire National Park and drive to Karatu for two nights

After breakfast you will leave Tarangire National Park and drive on to Karatu.

Enjoy a packed lunch along the journey to Lake Manyara National Park.

Arrive in Karatu in the late afternoon and check into the Plantation Lodge for a 2 night stay.

Spend the following day exploring the famous Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch for game drive. The Crater is oval in shape and measures is 300sq km in area and is 610m deep. The Crater is a repository of Africa’s finest wildlife. All the big five are present living a privileged existence on the Crater floor. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the Crater. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the Crater and drive back to the Plantation Lodge.

Travel from Karatu to the Central Serengeti

Today make your way to the Central Serengeti where you will spend 3 nights at Matawi Serengeti Camp.

You may opt to visit the Olduvai Gorge/Museum (entry fee excluded).

Spend the next few days here and enjoy game drives in the early morning followed bay a hearty breakfast back at the camp and more game viewing in the Serengeti National Park which is as big as Northern Ireland. It is the greatest game sanctuary in the World, fantastic in its natural beauty and unequalled in its scientific value. Serengeti contains about 4 million different types of animals including the big cats, lions, leopards and cheetah and many more like elephant and buffalo.

Transfer to Seronera airstrip, light aircraft charter to Dar es Salam & boat to Lazy Lagoon Lodge

After breakfast transfer to the Seronera airstrip and take a light aircraft charter to Dar es Salaam. On arrival at the airport you will be met a transferred to Mbegani Fisheries FETA institute in Bagamoyo from where a short boat ride will take you to the Lazy Lagoon Lodge.

Check into your Banda which will be your home for for the next 3 nights.

When on Lazy Lagoon Island, you are truly secluded, allowing you to fully relax and unwind from the busy world.

Boat Crossings to Lazy Lagoon Lodge are scheduled at the following times:
Mainland to Lazy Lagoon: 12:00 15:00 18:00.
