Upon your arrival at the international airport, our friendly guide will warmly welcome you and accompany you on a scenic journey to Kibale National Park. Enjoy a stopover at the equator for photos and breakfast, and continue your drive with an en-route lunch in Kasese. After an approximate 8-hour drive, you will reach Kibale National Park. Check-ins at your chosen accommodation, such as the Kibale Forest Lodge or Primate Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Visit to the crater lakes

Rise early and enjoy a cup of tea before being picked up by your guide for a visit to Lake Katwe, one of the largest Crater Lakes in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Situated at the highest point of the park on the Mweya Peninsula, Lake Katwe is renowned for its salt production. Take in the panoramic views of the Rift Valley, Lake George, Lake Edward, the Kazinga Channel, and the Rwenzori Mountains. Explore the Katwe explosion craters, hike through tea plantations, and witness the unique Lake Kitagata. After the visit, return to the park for dinner and an overnight stay at the Acacia wildeness lodge.
