Day 1

After breakfast, you’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest national park and a sanctuary renowned for its impressive elephant population. The landscape is dotted with majestic baobab trees that rise dramatically above the plains, creating a striking backdrop as wildlife grazes below.

Much of the park’s wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, the region’s only permanent water source, making it an excellent location for game viewing. Here, you may spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and herds of up to 6,000 elephants. With more than 300 recorded bird species, the park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts.

Following your game drive, you will continue to your lodge, situated just outside the park, where you can relax and unwind.

Day 2

Transfer from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll set off for Serengeti National Park, beginning a game drive to spot both the park’s iconic predators and the herbivores they hunt. Lunch will be served at the Naabi Hill gate inside the park. Afterward, the vehicle’s roof will be opened for a continued game drive as you make your way to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional:
On your journey to the Serengeti, you’ll pass by approximately four Maasai villages, where you can explore and experience the traditional Maasai way of life. This cultural visit is available for an additional cost.

After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive across the vast Serengeti plains, pausing for a picnic lunch along the way. In the afternoon, continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay.

On the way to the Naabi Hill gate, enjoy another exciting game drive. After stopping for lunch at the gate, resume your journey onward to Ngorongoro.

This ancient volcanic caldera, spanning 100 square miles, is a haven for wildlife, from lions and leopards to elephants, buffalo, hippos, and more. With some luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive black rhino. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery of the crater floor, you’ll climb back to the rim and return to camp for an overnight stay.
