Your safari begins with a pickup from the airport or your hotel in Kigali by a professional driver-guide. You start with a Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a meaningful insight into Rwanda’s history, along with a chance to explore local markets and craft centers.
After the tour, you'll drive towards Volcanoes National Park, enjoying views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and countryside. You will arrive in the Musanze area, check in at your lodge, and relax in preparation for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will head to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. These lively primates are known for their playful nature and quick movements through the bamboo forest, offering an exciting and photogenic experience.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for refreshment before continuing your journey into Uganda via the Cyanika Border Crossing. You proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. You will begin your gorilla trekking adventure through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Once located, you'll spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an unforgettable and emotional wildlife encounter. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a short rest before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

You will start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffalo, antelopes, and more across the savannah plains. The park’s diverse ecosystem offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a relaxing boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along the shores.
After the boat cruise, you return to your lodge for dinner and a second overnight stay within the park, allowing you to fully enjoy the wilderness experience.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for chimpanzee tracking. This forest, located near Queen Elizabeth National Park, is known for its high chances of spotting chimpanzees in the wild.
You track these intelligent primates through the forest as they move, feed, and communicate in their natural habitat. After the experience, you will begin your scenic journey back to Kigali, crossing back into Rwanda and enjoying beautiful countryside views along the way. You will arrive in the evening for hotel or airport drop-off.
