By evening, you return to camp for a warm dinner and peaceful overnight stay under the African sky.

The journey is calm and beautiful, with sweeping views and changing landscapes along the way. A picnic lunch is served en route at a scenic stop, giving you time to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
The drive then continues gently into the highlands as you approach the rim of the crater, where cool air and breathtaking views welcome you. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for an early morning descent into the crater the next day.

After an early and delicious breakfast, you’ll descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater at the perfect time for wildlife viewing, when animals are most active in the cool morning air. Enjoy a guided morning and afternoon game drive across the crater floor, with incredible chances to see lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and many other species in one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. Around midday, you’ll pause for a peaceful picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Later, you begin a gentle ascent out of the crater and start your journey back to Arusha.
