Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through Maasai plains and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, begin a game drive in this wildlife-rich park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of animals, especially during the dry season, making it a prime location for wildlife viewing. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators such as lions or leopards. The park is also home to diverse birdlife, adding to the overall experience. Day 2

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park set at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon entry, begin a game drive through the groundwater forest, home to baboons, monkeys, and a variety of bird species. As the landscape opens up, explore the lake shores and open plains where animals such as herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras are commonly seen. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos and other water birds, creating a colorful and dynamic environment. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, surrounded by nature. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After having a breakfast, depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending to the crater rim with breathtaking views along the way. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this unique natural enclosure, often referred to as a wildlife haven.

The crater floor hosts a high concentration of animals, offering excellent chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos. You may also encounter the endangered black rhino, which is protected within this ecosystem. The diverse habitats, including grasslands, swamps, and acacia forests, support a wide range of species in a relatively small area. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend back to the rim and begin your return journey to Arusha.
