1-Day Murchison Falls Safari with Nile Boat Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park, covering 3,840 square kilometres of wilderness filled with lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. The Victoria Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-metre gorge to create the powerful Murchison Falls.

Your 4:00 AM departure allows you to reach the park early for a motorized boat cruise from Paraa Jetty. Cruise upstream along the Victoria Nile, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and colorful birdlife before reaching the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile crashes through the gorge in a spectacular display of power.

After the cruise, visit the Top of the Falls for panoramic views of the gorge and the rushing Nile. Enjoy the scenery and take photos before beginning the return drive through Masindi and the Luwero corridor, arriving in Kampala in the early evening.
