Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00am and then drive to Tarangire National Park for three hours. You will go on a full-day game drive inside the park and then make your way to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River, where the animals congregate to drink. This park is characterized by large herds of elephants, and fascinating baobab trees. The baobab is sometimes referred to as the “tree of life” due to the mythical powers that some cultures ascribe to it.

We will head towards Serengeti National Park via the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa: Serengeti National Park, whose endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Next, we will make our way to the central park area known as Seronera. The Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and attracts most of the animal species found in Serengeti. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 4

You will wake up early and have a full breakfast before starting your game drive inside Serengeti. We will ensure that you follow the wildebeest migration during your time with us.
The time of the annual Great Migration varies every year. The best chance of seeing it is from June to September, as the wildebeest calving season is from January to March. From July to September, your driver can take you to the northern Serengeti to watch the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. A million and a half wildebeest travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. After your full-day game drive, you will return to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.

The drive itself is rich with wildlife sightings, making the journey just as exciting as the destination.
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, you are greeted with a spectacular panoramic view of one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. The contrast between the endless Serengeti plains and the lush, enclosed ecosystem of the crater makes this transition truly unique.

Lake Manyara National Park is a compact yet remarkably diverse gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Despite its relatively small size, the park offers a rich mix of habitats, including lush groundwater forests, open grassy plains, acacia woodlands, and the shallow alkaline lake that covers much of the park. This unique combination supports an impressive variety of wildlife and birdlife.
The park is famously known for its tree-climbing lions, If you may witness to see them a rare behavior that sets Lake Manyara apart from other destinations. Visitors can also encounter large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and troops of playful baboons. The lake itself attracts thousands of flamingos and other waterbirds, making it a paradise for bird lovers with over 400 species recorded.
