Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa by your professional driver-guide in a 4x4 safari Land Cruiser. Depart and drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway toward Tsavo East National Park, enjoying scenic views of the countryside along the way.
Upon arrival, proceed to Voi Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch. The lodge is located inside the park and offers panoramic views of the plains and wildlife areas. In the afternoon, depart for your first game viewing drive in Tsavo East. The park is famous for its red-dust elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife. You may also visit wildlife hotspots such as Aruba Dam.

Tsavo East National Park to Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, check out from Voi Safari Lodge and enjoy a short morning game drive as you exit Tsavo East National Park. Proceed to Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for check-in and lunch at Salt Lick Safari Lodge. The lodge is located in the Taita Hills conservancy area, offering elevated views of wildlife at nearby waterholes.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Tsavo West, exploring its dramatic landscapes, lava flows, and springs. Wildlife may include elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. A visit to Mzima Springs may also be included, where hippos and crocodiles can be seen in clear natural pools.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Tsavo West National Park to Mombasa

After breakfast at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, check out and begin your journey back to Mombasa.
Drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway, enjoying scenic views along the way heading directly back to the coast. You will arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or preferred location.
