En route, you’ll stop at the Equator for photos and lunch at a hotel. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive followed by a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to view aquatic wildlife. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

With PrideMark Safaris, you’ll begin the day with a morning guided game walk before transferring to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This remarkable forest is home to over 300 mountain gorillas, nearly half of the world’s population, including several habituated families available for trekking.
Upon arrival, the rest of the day is spent at leisure as you check into your lodge, unwind, and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking adventure scheduled for the following day.

With PrideMark Safaris, you’ll have breakfast before heading to the ranger post for a briefing on trekking rules and safety guidelines. You’ll then enter Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an unforgettable adventure through its stunning rainforest, known for its steep, dense, and richly forested terrain crisscrossed by wildlife trails. Trekking time and difficulty vary depending on gorilla movement. Once a gorilla family is found, you’ll spend one precious hour observing them before returning to your lodge to relax and reflect on the experience.

Sightings are not guaranteed as they may also be hunting on the plains, but when spotted in the trees, the view is truly unforgettable. You will then continue to the Mweya area for an afternoon game drive before checking in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

With PrideMark Safaris, you’ll start the day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot Cape buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, and other wildlife. After returning to the lodge for rest and lunch, you’ll enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, linking Lakes George and Edward, offering sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and diverse birdlife. You may later opt for a short evening game drive before returning to the lodge.

With PrideMark Safaris, you’ll enjoy breakfast at your lodge before driving through local villages and scenic countryside toward Fort Portal. You’ll pass the beautiful crater lakes before continuing to Kibale National Park for a self-guided nature walk.
Kibale is well known for its rich primate life, including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, mangabeys, and red-tailed monkeys. Along the chimpanzee trails, you may spot them swinging through the trees or feeding on wild fruits in their natural habitat.

Day 7

With PrideMark Safaris, you will proceed to the forest headquarters for a briefing before beginning your trek with a ranger around 8:00 am in Kibale National Park. This park is home to the highest number of primate species in the world, including chimpanzees, with around 5,000 living in the wild in Uganda.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an evening guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

The journey continues through beautiful countryside, arriving at the airport in the afternoon or evening for drop-off, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari experience.
