Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport at around 1:00 pm, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional PrideMark Safaris driver-guide for a short briefing before setting off by road to Uganda via the Katuna border. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and local villages along the way as you head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the rare mountain gorillas.

On arrival, check in at your lodge and relax. If time permits, you may enjoy an optional cultural visit to the Batwa community for a unique local experience.

Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

Start your day with an early breakfast before setting off on a memorable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You’ll hike through the dense rainforest with experienced rangers to locate a gorilla family and spend one incredible hour observing them in their natural environment.
After the trek, continue to the peaceful Lake Bunyonyi, famous for its scenic islands and calm waters. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing boat ride while taking in the stunning views. You’ll then check in at Bird Nest Lodge for an overnight stay with beautiful lake scenery and comfort.

After breakfast, depart from Lake Bunyonyi and journey toward Kibale National Park, famous for its rich primate diversity. Enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s countryside along the way. On arrival, take a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you may spot birds, butterflies, and various primates in their natural habitat.

In the evening, check in at Bweza Kibale Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
