Day 1

On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you’ll be warmly met by a Bushshrike Safaris guide and transferred to your lodge, such as Pioneers Lodge or similar, for a four-night stay. After check-in, take time to relax and settle in, enjoying the tranquil surroundings and lodge amenities.
In the late afternoon, you’ll be collected for a scenic sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, where you can unwind with refreshing drinks while spotting wildlife such as elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird species along the riverbanks. The sunset over the water provides a truly memorable start to your journey. After the cruise, you will be transferred back to your lodge for the evening.

Please note that dinner on the first night is not included and will be at your own expense, giving you the flexibility to dine at the lodge or explore nearby restaurants at your leisure.

Day 2

After breakfast, you’ll be collected by your guide for a guided tour of Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, where you’ll explore scenic viewpoints such as Knife-Edge Bridge (seasonal) and enjoy close-up views of the cascading water and misty rainforest. Your guide will share insights into the geology, history, and local significance of this natural wonder.

The tour continues with a visit to the Livingstone Museum, Zambia’s oldest museum, where you’ll discover exhibits on local culture, archaeology, and the life of explorer David Livingstone.

You will then cross back into Zimbabwe for a guided tour of the falls from this side, renowned for its wide panoramic views and year-round water flow. Along the way, you’ll stop at the famous Big Tree, a centuries-old baobab, perfect for photos.

In the evening, you’ll be picked up for dinner at the Lookout Café, set dramatically above the Batoka Gorge, where you can enjoy great food, drinks, and breathtaking sunset views in a unique setting.
