Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through Maasai villages and open countryside. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, rolling savannah, and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species. During the dry season, animals gather around the river, creating exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. Lake Manyara National Park

Following breakfast, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for a memorable game drive in this compact yet incredibly diverse park. The park is known for its lush groundwater forest, alkaline lake, and dramatic escarpment scenery. Keep watch for the famous tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and colorful flamingos along the lakeshore. The varied habitats support rich wildlife and excellent birdlife, making the park ideal for photography and nature lovers. Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Descend over 600 meters into the crater floor for a half-day game drive surrounded by breathtaking volcanic scenery. The crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, zebras, hippos, and wildebeests. With luck, you may spot all members of the Big Five in a single day. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while observing animals in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
