Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive towards the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, you will have an opportunity to enjoy stunning viewpoints overlooking the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater itself is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. After enjoying the scenic highland landscapes, continue your journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive. As you enter the Serengeti ecosystem, wildlife sightings begin almost immediately.

Arrive in Central Serengeti in the evening and check in at your safari lodge or camp for dinner and overnight. The sounds of nature surrounding the camp create a true African wilderness experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the magic of the Serengeti.

Early mornings are among the best times for safari activities as predators are still active and the temperatures are cooler. Later beginning your journey towards Karatu. The drive back offers another chance to enjoy the Serengeti landscapes and possible wildlife sightings along the route.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and proceed to the spectacular Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden safari gems. The park is famous for its giant baobab trees, expansive savannah landscapes, and large elephant populations.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Continue with an afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the park and searching for more wildlife encounters. The iconic baobab trees scattered across the landscape create spectacular scenery and unique photography opportunities. In the evening, proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
