Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will receive a warm Tanzanian welcome from your dedicated Nature in Spirit driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey. From the airport, enjoy a scenic 1 hour and 30-minute drive to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. If weather permits, you may catch your first breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, with opportunities to stop for photos along the way. As you travel, observe the vibrant local life, villages, and markets that offer a genuine introduction to Tanzania. Feel free to ask questions or pause for memorable moments during the drive. After breakfast, you will transfer approximately 30 minutes to Arusha Airport for your scenic scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park. Flying into the Serengeti is one of the best ways to maximize your safari experience, avoiding long driving hours and allowing you to arrive fresh, energized, and ready to begin exploring immediately upon landing. From the air, enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Highlands and the endless golden plains below.

The Serengeti, covering nearly 14,763 km², is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, renowned for its exceptional predator sightings, vast savannahs, and incredible concentration of wildlife year-round. Upon arrival, your safari adventure begins immediately with a game drive en route to your camp. Enjoy a delicious hot lunch and time to relax before departing again for an afternoon game drive extending into the early evening until around 06:00 PM. Dinner and overnight at the camp. We highly recommend departing camp by 06:00 AM for an early morning game drive — one of the best times to witness lions, leopards, and cheetahs returning from night hunts while the plains come alive in the beautiful golden morning light. During the drive, enjoy a scenic bush breakfast surrounded by the sounds and beauty of the wild.

Wake up for another unforgettable morning in the Serengeti and depart camp for a morning game drive, one of the best times to witness the plains at their most active. As the golden morning light spreads across the savannah, you may encounter lions returning from a hunt, cheetahs scanning the plains, leopards resting in the trees, and large herds beginning their day. After an exciting morning exploring the heart of the Serengeti, return to camp for a delicious hot lunch and time to relax.
After Lunch, continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater rim with excellent wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. Arrive at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp in the early evening, perfectly located directly on the crater rim. One of the greatest advantages of staying here is the exceptional proximity to the crater descent gate — only about 4 minutes away — allowing for a very early descent the following morning during the best wildlife viewing hours. Today, we highly recommend departing your lodge at 06:00 AM sharp for an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater — one of the greatest advantages of overnighting near the crater rim. Entering the crater this early allows you to experience the wildlife at its most active, often before other vehicles arrive, creating a more peaceful, exclusive, and rewarding safari experience. The cool morning temperatures and soft golden light also provide exceptional conditions for photography and unique wildlife sightings.

From approximately 06:20 AM until 01:30 PM, enjoy an unforgettable game drive across the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, hyenas, buffalo, hippos, and the rare black rhino.
