You will depart early in the morning for a scenic drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the few remaining places in Africa where wildlife continues to thrive freely across vast natural landscapes. As part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, the reserve is famous for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and other grazing animals, closely followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. This first safari experience offers excellent opportunities to encounter a wide variety of wildlife while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the Mara’s endless plains.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will head out for a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve with packed lunch boxes, allowing you to spend more time exploring the reserve’s diverse landscapes and wildlife-rich plains. The Mara is famous for its impressive black-maned lions, large populations of resident wildlife, and the possibility of spotting the Big Five during a single morning safari, depending on wildlife movement and luck.
Cheetahs are frequently seen in the reserve and are known for being comfortable around safari vehicles. At times, they may rest in the shade beside vehicles or climb onto them to gain a better vantage point while searching the plains for prey.
The reserve is also a paradise for bird lovers, with nearly 500 recorded bird species. Among them are several species of eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, bustards, and sunbirds, including the famous Kori bustard, recognized as one of the heaviest flying birds in the world.

Day 3
Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru National Park

You will be picked up early in the morning and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, located within Kenya’s spectacular Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you will cross the Equator as you travel toward one of the country’s most famous wildlife parks. Lake Nakuru is internationally recognized for its alkaline lake and the large numbers of flamingos that often gather along its shores, creating breathtaking shades of pink across the water’s edge.
The park is also an important rhino sanctuary, protecting both black and white rhinos, alongside a variety of other wildlife species such as giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and lions. During certain seasons, thousands of flamingos can be seen around the lake, making it one of the most remarkable birdwatching destinations in Africa.
Upon arrival, you will check in and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru / Lake Naivasha National Park

Depart in the afternoon to Lake Naivasha which it is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400 species have been recorded). It is also a favorite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who come here to sail, water ski and fish. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. Along the lake shore, vineyards produce grapes for the country's fledging wine industry.

Day 5

Your safari concludes with a visit to Hell's Gate National Park, a unique destination known for its dramatic landscapes and diverse savannah ecosystem. The park is home to a variety of wildlife and bird species, making it an excellent location for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Birdlife in the park includes vultures, Verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzards, and swifts, while animals commonly seen include African buffaloes, zebras, elands, hartebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, and baboons.
Later in the morning, you will depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon at approximately 3:00 PM, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
