White Rhino Tracking and Nile Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls
White Rhino Tracking and Nile Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls
Your driver-guide collects you from your hotel in Kampala early in the morning for a short safari briefing covering the programme, safety guidelines, and what to expect during the trip. After about two and a half hours, you arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your rhino tracking experience.
At Ziwa, a specialist ranger leads you on foot into the sanctuary to track Uganda’s only wild Southern White Rhinos. The experience takes approximately two to three hours and offers an exciting opportunity to observe these massive animals up close in their natural environment. Lunch follows after the activity.
After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park for an afternoon Nile boat cruise from Paraa to the base of Murchison Falls. Cruising upstream along the Victoria Nile, you may spot hippos, giant Nile crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks.

Day 2
Sunset Game Drive and Top of the Falls
Sunset Game Drive and Top of the Falls
A 6:00am departure is essential for the best game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, when predators are most active and lighting is ideal for photography. Explore the northern bank circuit, the park’s most productive route, as your guide scans the savannah and woodland edges for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and birdlife.
After the game drive and lunch, you make your way to the Top of the Falls viewpoint — accessible by a short drive and walk to the very edge of the gorge. Standing at the top of Murchison Falls, watching the full force of the Nile compress through a gap barely seven metres wide before plunging into the pool far below, is one of those rare travel moments that requires no caption. It simply has to be witnessed.
You begin the return journey to Kampala in the mid-afternoon, retracing the route south with the satisfaction of having seen three of Uganda's most iconic wildlife experiences in forty-eight hours. Arrival in Kampala by evening.
