Day 1

After breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife parks, famous for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy a 6–7-hour game drive through the park, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and many other animals in their natural habitat. Tarangire is also known for its rich birdlife, especially during the dry season when migratory birds gather around the river. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a hot lunch near the scenic Tarangire River while taking in the surrounding wildlife and landscapes. After the game drive, you will move to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, you will depart toward Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological and paleoanthropological sites, often called the “Cradle of Humankind.” Famous for discoveries by Louis and Mary Leakey, the gorge has revealed ancient fossils and stone tools dating back nearly two million years, including remains of early human ancestors such as Homo habilis. Formed through thousands of years of erosion, Olduvai Gorge stretches about 48 kilometers and exposes layers of volcanic ash and sediment that preserve remarkable evidence of human evolution. You will visit the museum and learn about the history of early mankind before continuing to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you will enjoy a full day exploring the breathtaking Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The day is completely flexible and can be tailored to your preferences, allowing you to experience the safari at your own pace. Your professional guide will discuss the best schedule with you each day, including the ideal times for waking up and heading out for game drives based on wildlife activity and your interests.

You may choose to begin with an early morning game drive when predators are most active, then return to camp for lunch that give you opportunity to connect with Nature and relaxation before continuing with an afternoon safari. Alternatively, you can enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, maximizing your opportunities to spot wildlife. You will have Game Drive of six to seven Hours in side the park.

We recommend an early morning wake-up for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is most active and the golden light creates spectacular scenery. During the 6–7-hour game drive, you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other animals in their natural habitat. After the safari, you will return to camp for a rewarding brunch before continuing to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.

The crater covers about 165 km² with walls rising 610 meters high and is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. Its landscapes include forests, open plains, swamps, and a soda lake filled with flamingos. After the game drive, you will depart for Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
