Upon arrival in Kampala or Entebbe, meet your safari guide and transfer to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and home of the Source of the Nile.

Day 3

Jinja – Rhino Tracking – Transfer to Murchison Falls

Jinja – Rhino Tracking – Transfer to Murchison Falls

After an early breakfast, depart Jinja and begin your journey towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience on foot.

Accompanied by experienced rangers, walk through the sanctuary while tracking southern white rhinos in their natural environment - the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be seen in the wild.
After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and proceed to the top of the falls where the Nile dramatically squeezes through a narrow gorge before crashing down powerfully below.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park.
Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, hyenas, and other wildlife across the savannah plains. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls where hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species can be spotted along the riverbanks.

After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, driving through scenic landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages.
Arrive in the beautiful crater lakes region near Kibale Forest in time for lunch before proceeding for the famous Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary swamp walk.
The Bigodi Swamp Walk offers a rich nature and cultural experience with opportunities to spot monkeys, colorful birds, butterflies, and beautiful wetland scenery while interacting with the local community.
After the walk, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park.
Walk through the rainforest searching for habituated chimpanzees while spotting other primates and birdlife. After spending one hour with the chimpanzees, return for lunch before continuing your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the rolling hills of western Uganda.
