After a scenic domestic flight of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Zanzibar, you will arrive at Arusha Airport, where your safari guide will warmly welcome you and begin your adventure.

Often referred to as the "Land of Giants," Tarangire offers exceptional game viewing, with large herds of elephants gathering along the life-giving Tarangire River.

After breakfast, depart Mto wa Mbu early in the morning (around 6:00–7:00 AM) to maximize wildlife viewing time inside the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” the crater boasts breathtaking landscapes and an exceptional concentration of wildlife within its ancient volcanic caldera.

Descend 600 meters to the crater floor and enjoy an unforgettable game drive through this natural sanctuary, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and a remarkable variety of birdlife. The crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Tanzania, all within a stunning and compact ecosystem.

Enjoy picnic lunch to Arusha Airport. From there, board your flight back to Zanzibar, bringing your incredible 2-day safari adventure to a close and leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s breathtaking wildlife and landscapes.
