Day 1

Airport to Arusha

Airport to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your transfer driver and driven to Arusha, where you’ll check in at Arusha Tourist Inn. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at the hotel. In the evening, you will receive a safari briefing to prepare for the adventure ahead. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. In the evening, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, where groups of up to 300 can be seen digging dry riverbeds in search of water. The park is also home to wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, impala, gazelles, hartebeest, and eland, especially around shrinking lagoons during the dry season. With one of the highest wildlife concentrations outside the Serengeti ecosystem, it attracts many predators. You may also spot unique species such as the fringe-eared oryx and the long-necked gerenuk. During the dry season, Tarangire becomes a vital refuge, hosting a remarkable diversity of wildlife.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue your journey through the fertile highlands, where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, coffee, and maize. As you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, take in the stunning views of the vast caldera, formed millions of years ago after a massive volcanic eruption.

Proceed onward to Serengeti National Park, whose name means “endless plains” in the Maasai language. Arriving by late evening, you’ll experience one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes, rich in diverse habitats including open grasslands, swamps, lakes, and hills. The Serengeti is also home to the great migration of wildebeest and zebras, where thousands of animals move in search of fresh grazing.

After an exciting game drive, continue to Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with an early coffee before heading out for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. This is the best time to spot the Big Five, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, as wildlife is most active in the cool morning hours. With no fences, animals roam freely, offering an authentic and uninterrupted safari experience.

After your game drive, continue toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching the crater rim, enjoy your first stunning view of its vast landscape, with open plains, sparkling streams, and abundant wildlife below. You will spend the night at Simba Campsite on the crater’s edge, surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful sunset.

Enjoy an early start with stunning sunrise views over the Ngorongoro Crater before breakfast. You will then descend into the crater for a memorable game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed millions of years ago after a massive volcanic eruption. With its rich ecosystem and high concentration of wildlife, the crater offers one of the best safari experiences in Tanzania.

As you explore the crater floor, you may spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and a variety of birdlife, with a chance to see the rare black rhino. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you will drive back up the crater walls and continue your journey to Arusha for an overnight stay.
