Lake manyara national park
Lake manyara national park
Lake Manyara National Park is a beautiful and compact safari destination located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, known for its rich scenery and diverse wildlife.
The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare behavior seen in only a few places in Africa. It is also home to large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and many antelope species. The shallow Lake Manyara attracts thousands of flamingos and other water birds, making the park one of Tanzania’s best destinations for birdwatching, with over 400 recorded species.
Lake Manyara National Park offers a unique mix of habitats within a small area, including lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, swamps, and the alkaline lake itself. This diversity creates excellent game viewing opportunities in a short time, making it ideal for day trips and the start or end of a northern circuit safari.

Serengeti national park
Serengeti national park
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s most iconic safari destination, famous for its vast open plains, dramatic landscapes, and extraordinary wildlife diversity. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word “Siringit,” meaning “endless plains,” which perfectly describes the park’s sweeping savannahs.
The park is best known for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing, followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Beyond the migration, the Serengeti supports abundant resident wildlife year-round, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and a high concentration of big cats.
Serengeti National Park features diverse habitats, from open grasslands and rolling hills to riverine forests and rocky kopjes that provide resting and hunting grounds for predators. These varied ecosystems make every game drive unique and rewarding. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise.

Serengeti national park
Serengeti national park
Central Serengeti (Seronera Area) is the heart of Serengeti National Park and the most wildlife-rich region in the park, offering outstanding game viewing throughout the year.
The area is defined by open grass plains, scattered acacia trees, rocky kopjes, and the permanent Seronera River, which attracts animals in all seasons. Because of this reliable water source, Central Serengeti supports a large resident population of wildlife, making it ideal for safaris at any time of the year.
Central Serengeti is especially famous for its high density of big cats. Lions are commonly seen resting on kopjes or hunting on the plains, leopards are frequently spotted along the riverine trees, and cheetahs thrive in the open grasslands. Large numbers of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and hyenas are also regularly see.

Ngorongoro cretar
Ngorongoro cretar
Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most remarkable safari destinations and a true natural wonder. Formed millions of years ago after a massive volcanic eruption, it is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, with steep walls surrounding a rich and fertile crater floor.
The crater is famous for its exceptionally high concentration of wildlife within a relatively small area, offering some of the best game viewing in Tanzania. More than 25,000 large animals live inside the crater, giving visitors an excellent chance to spot the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino often during a single game drive.
The crater floor features a variety of ecosystems, including open grasslands, swamps, forests, and Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake that attracts flamingos and many other bird species. Hippos are commonly seen in the swamps, while hyenas and lions roam the plains in large numbers.
