Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at your lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Spend the evening preparing for the unforgettable wildlife experiences that await in the days ahead.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, your Best Time Time Adventures guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, descend into this UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its stunning landscapes and exceptional wildlife.
The crater floor is home to a remarkable variety of animals, including elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino and other members of the Big Five. As you explore the crater’s grasslands, forests, and lakes, enjoy some of the best wildlife viewing in Tanzania.
After an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch, continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations, renowned for its ancient baobab trees, vast savannah landscapes, and impressive elephant populations.
Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, including open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, buffaloes, and many other fascinating wildlife species. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers, hosting hundreds of bird species throughout the year.
Stop at a scenic picnic site for lunch while surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration.
Following this unique safari experience, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy another exciting game drive in Tarangire National Park, a wildlife-rich destination known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse landscapes. Explore the park’s vast plains and river valleys, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, and a variety of other wildlife.
Keep an eye out for predators such as lions and leopards, while bird enthusiasts can enjoy spotting some of the park’s many colorful bird species. Every game drive offers unique wildlife encounters and spectacular scenery.
Later in the afternoon, after a memorable safari experience, your guide will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable journey with Best Time Adventures.
